Dorney Park Lights Up Independence Day Weekend

Allentown, PA -- On Saturday, July 1, Dorney Park will light up the summer sky with its annual Independence Day Weekend fireworks extravaganza sponsored by RCN.

The festivities begin at 9:35 p.m. with Dorney Park's high-energy Laser Light Spectacular. Then at 10:15 the evening sky will come alive with an amazing 25-minute pyrotechnics display designed by the world-renowned Zambelli Fireworks International of New Castle, PA.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom opens at 10 a.m. for those who want to spend the day riding and sliding before the big show. Wildwater Kingdom closes at 8 p.m., but Dorney Park will remain open until 11 p.m. so everyone can get their fill of the Park's world-class rides and attractions.

Those looking for a great seat for all the action will enjoy Dorney Park's special $13.25 Starlight Admission price beginning at 5 p.m. Children under 48 inches tall and Seniors age 60 and older pay just $7.00 all day; children under three are always free.
