Santa Clara, CA -- Nickelodeon, the only network for kids, is taking over Paramount's Great America. From Eliza and Donnie from The Wild Thornberrysú to actor Leon Frierson from "All That", to scavenger hunts and more, Totally Nick Weekend turns Northern California's most thrilling park into the exclusive host of this Nickelodeon party.
Totally Nick Weekend is Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11. This two-day extravaganza is free with park admission. Get wild with Eliza and Donnie from The Wild Thornberrys during their only park appearance for the 2000 season. Kids will meet the 12-year-old jungle adventurer Eliza and her untamable friend Donnie all day in the park's special jungle-themed area inside Nickelodeon Splat City.
If you think comedy and hip-hop music don't mix, then meet actor Leon Frierson from the hit Nickelodeon show "All That." Leon plays ZuZu the Infected Elf on All That, Nickelodeon's zany sketch comedy show performed entirely by kids. Leon will be available for autographs and photographs during his meet and greet in Nickelodeon Splat City.
Start the day with bacon, eggs and your favorite Nickelodeon characters. Eliza and Donnie from The Wild Thornberrys, Blue from Blues Clues and the stars of the Rugrats, will be on hand in the County Fair Picnic Grove from 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m. both days. The Nicktoons breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, buttermilk biscuits, pancakes, assorted cold cereals, fresh fruit salad, coffee, juice and milk. Breakfast tickets are $10 (tax included) or $8 (season pass holder only) per person plus park admission. Tickets may be purchased at any ticket window at the park on the day of the breakfast. Seating is first-come, first-served.
Kids will also enjoy exploring the park on a mission to find larger-than-life pictures of their Nickelodeon friends in the Nicktoons Scavenger Hunt.
Children ages 3 through 11 receive a free Nicktoons Scavenger Hunt Map just inside the park entrance. From there, they follow clues that identify characters and lead them through the park. Each time they find a character, they stamp their map. When they've found all six, they can go to the Nickelodeon Store (before 6 p.m.) and pick up their free prize.
Your preschool child's favorite puppy, Blue from Blue's Clues, and her special friend will be entertaining guests at their new home in the interactive character depot in Nickelodeon Splat City. Blue's animated personality comes to life as kids can talk with her in-person.
Take part in our all-new show Nicktoons Summer Jam in the Nickelodeon Slime Bowl Theater. Celebrate the return of Nickelodeon favorites Angelica Pickles, the Angry Beavers, CatDog and Nick's newest star, SpongeBob SquarePants. It's great interactive fun when Dag and Norb take on the "old school" style and Angelica takes a turn with some of today's hottest hits.
Plus, there's all the fun of Splat City, the home of Nickelodeon fun. Tread carefully through the Green Slime Zone, an interactive pipe work maze through Splat City's central slime refinery operation, as a wrong move may cause a pipe to surprise you with a watery spray. Blast your partner with water balloon fun at the Double Dare Slime Shot Challenge or ride the rails of the Green Slime Mine Car Coaster.
