Kodak and Six Flags Sign Five-Year Sponsorship Agreement

New York, NY -- Two of the world's most well known brands, Eastman Kodak Company and Six Flags have signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement.

The five-year agreement provides Kodak with exclusive rights to sell their photographic products in Six Flags' 25 U.S. theme and water park properties. Those parks annually host over 38 million guests.

"This is a terrific sponsorship for our company in many ways," said Kieran Burke, Six Flags chairman. "It aligns Six Flags with Kodak, a world class company with a great brand and quality products that are well respected by consumers. We are pleased to designate Kodak as the official photographic supplier of Six Flags and to extend this excellent relationship to all of our parks."

"The agreement maintains our beneficial affiliation with the leading regional theme park brand in the world. Most importantly, we enjoy access to a large consumer group at a place where our products are highly utilized on a daily basis," said Jerry Wallner, director of sponsorship marketing, Kodak.

Under the terms of the agreement, Six Flags will provide Kodak with a major retail location at each park. The agreement also calls for Six Flags to provide prime advertising slots on its in-park television entertainment network, called Six Flags TV. Kodak will also be the presenting sponsor of major attractions in each park.

"The Kodak sponsorship reaffirms the strong potential we enjoy with the Six Flags brand. We exercise great care to select sponsorship and affiliate marketing partners who can deliver the products, stature and value to optimize the Six Flags brand and experience," said Burke.

Six Flags is the world's largest regional theme park company with a total of 37 parks in the United States, Europe and Latin America. Six Flags parks serve 17 of the 25 largest metropolitan areas in the United States. The parks annually host approximately 50 million guests worldwide. Six Flags is a publicly held corporation with corporate offices in New York City and Oklahoma City.
