Orlando, FL -- After a successful introduction last year the Florida Fun Card is back by popular demand. Florida residents can once again enjoy SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for an entire year by simply purchasing a one single-day admission, the cost of a Florida 2001 Fun Card.
The new Fun Card is now available through April 6 at the front gates of SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. You may also purchase the card at participating AAA and The Huntington Bank locations in Florida.
"We listen very carefully to our guests, and the Florida residents keep asking us to please bring back the Fun Card," said Thom Stork, SeaWorld Orlando marketing vice president. "It's just the best deal around."
"Our Fun Card redefined theme park ticketing. So much so, that other parks are now following suit," added Joseph Couceiro, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay marketing vice president.
"But this is just the beginning for us. We have a number of other ideas in the works, all of which promise great value to our guests.
"With each visit to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, guests experience exhilarating thrill rides, up-close animal encounters and incredible live entertainment. At SeaWorld Orlando, guests can now ride Kraken, the tallest, longest, fastest and only floorless roller coaster in Orlando. Also at SeaWorld, visitors can feed and pet dolphins, stingrays and sea lions, and witness the awesome power of killer whales at "The Shamu Adventure."
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay combines unforgettable thrill rides, live entertainment and one of North America's largest zoos within an exotic African adventure. New in June 2000, is the enhanced world-famous Serengeti Plain habitat providing majestic, closer-than-ever views of giraffes, zebra, bongo, ostriches and other African species.
Also in Spring 2001, Busch Gardens will redefine 'real' adventure with Rhino Rally, an off-road safari river adventure through the wilds of Africa. Rhino Rally will blend up-close animal encounters with an unpredictable off-road safari competition that ends with a raging river thrill ride.
