Disneyland Raises Admission Prices Once More

Anaheim, CA -- Guests visiting Disneyland now days will have to open their wallets a little wider since park officials have again raised the price for a one-day ticket by $2. This is the park's eighth price increase in eight years, and now pushes the adult one-day ticket above the $40 mark.

The price for a one-day ticket to Disneyland is now $41 for adults and $31 for children. Magic Kingdom club members will continue to receive a $2 discount on the price, as will Southern California residents who live within specified zip codes. Qualifying resident may purchase up to six one-day adult tickets for only $31. The resident promotion will continue until the beginning of the summer season in mid-May.

In addition to the increase for a single day admission, the price for the park's two-day admission tickets also rose $4 for adults and $3 for the children. The parks three-day and five-day ticket prices will remain the same.

Disneyland is the first theme park in Southern California to raise their prices this year. But like in past years the other nearby parks will likely follow before the start of the busy and important summer season.
