Orlando, FL -- The Orlando Sentinel reports that Disney may be planning a major new roller coaster at Animal Kingdom to help improve the parks image. According to the report the roller coaster would help Disney stay competitive and broaden the appeal of its largest, but slowest Orlando theme park.
An estimated 8.3 million guests passed through the gates at Animal Kingdom last year, according to Amusement Business. The new roller coaster is expected to open in three years in a new themed section.
