You're Invited To Take 'A Look at the Legend'

Santa Claus, IN -- Holiday World and Splashin' Safari are inviting all coaster enthusiasts to take a look at the park's new wooden roller coaster, the Legend on Saturday, December 11. This special day will offer enthusiasts the opportunity to tour the construction site and watch a Legend in the making.

All coaster enthusiasts and the media are invited to attend. Bring your hard hat along if you have one handy (the park will supply them if you don't own one).

The events planned include a hard-hat construction tour of The Legend construction site and the opportunity to talk to Will Koch, president of Holiday World and Denise Larrick president of Custom Coasters International.

The tour will take place this Saturday, December 11/99 10:30 a.m. (CT) and will last approximately 90 minutes. No late arrivals, please. Those interested in attending should meet at the Holiday World Employee Parking lot, off Highway 162, seven miles south on I-64, exit 63.

The Legend, a new CCI-designed wooden coaster is slated to open May 6, 2000.
