Jackson, NJ — The opening of Medusa, the most hyped roller coaster of the year, has been delayed after a New Jersey state inspector found a hairline crack in one of the steel supports.
The disappointing news came as a shock to Six Flags Great Adventure officials who've been planning the opening of the new attraction for nearly a year. Park officials declined to comment on when the attraction may be able to open.
"The news of the delay is going to be a real shock to coaster enthusiasts" commented Eric Gieszl, coaster fan and resident april fools expert for Ultimate Rollercoaster.
