Hershey, PA -- Hersheypark, the 110-acre world class theme park, will open its gates for "Springtime in the Park," an extra pay-as-you-go weekend. On Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22, the park will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 23 from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m.
Guests may enter the park free of charge and purchase tickets for any of the parks 36 rides that will be open for the special weekend. The Carrousel, Kissing Tower, The Comet and Great Bear, are just a few of the rides scheduled to be open. Water rides and the park's new wooden dueling, racing coaster Lightning Racer will not be open.
Individual tickets are 70 cents, strips of 10 for $6.50 and strips of 20 will be $12. In addition, Hersheypark will over "ride-all-day" wristbands for $15.
A wide variety of games, shops, food stands and entertainment also will be available. ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park will be open 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. each of the three days.
