Wild Adventures To Better Prepare For Hot Weather

Valdosta, GA -- At least 36 visitors were treated for dehydration last weekend at Wild Adventures amusement park. With a heat index above 100 degrees some visitors were overcome by the heat.

Park officials plan to be better prepared in the future with additional water fountains, drink machines and fans. Guests reported lines of up to 45 minutes for soft drinks.

According to the Associated Press the park was near capacity with 28,000 visitors Saturday, the second largest crowd to date.
