Louisville, KY -- Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is using the word "lightnin'" to hint at the new thrill ride it's bringing to the Louisville amusement park next season. The hint given by the park is already fueling speculation among coaster enthusiasts as to what the ride may be.
Company executives said they plan to move some attractions between its parks to help keep things new for park visitors, but which ride will it be?
Six Flags has a ride at its AstroWorld park in Houston called Greezed Lightnin'. It's a "shuttle loop" coaster, which takes riders down a fast descent and through a loop, first forward and then backward.
Most coaster fans, think it's more likely to be a similar ride called Viper, which operated at Six Flags Over Georgia until it was mothballed in 2001 to make way for a Superman flying coaster.
