Disneyland Resort Holiday Celebration Begins November 8

Anaheim, CA -- The entire Disneyland Resort becomes the "Merriest Place on Earth" November 8 through January 5, with a festive lineup of other holiday entertainment for guests to enjoy. Bringing sleigh-loads of Christmas cheer to Disneyland Park are the "it's a small world holiday" attraction, the "Minnie's Christmas Story" stage show at the Fantasyland Theatre, a New Orleans Square holiday celebration and the park's colorfully decorated 60-foot Christmas tree.

Other highlights include "A Christmas Fantasy" parade, which will begin daily performances along Main Street, U.S.A. on November 22, and "Believe… In Holiday Magic," a special version of the park's popular fireworks spectacular that concludes with a magical snowfall along Main Street and It's A Small World.

On New Year's Eve, December 31, Disneyland will extend its operating hours until 2 a.m. and present a special midnight fireworks spectacular above Sleeping Beauty Castle to ring in the New Year.

Disney's California Adventure park will also be decorated for the season and will feature an abundance of entertainment, including "Disney's Aladdin – Live On Stage," a new musical based on the popular Walt Disney Pictures animated film, which is set to premiere Monday, December 9 at the Hyperion Theatre. In addition, the ever-popular "Disney's Electrical Parade," a procession of nearly a half-million twinkling lights on three-dimensional parade units, will be presented on weekends and on many other dates throughout the holiday season.

The Resort's three hotels and Downtown Disney District also will join in the Christmas spirit with twinkling lights, colorful décor, special entertainment and a host of holiday dining experiences throughout the season.
