Disney Raises Admission Prices $2 At Orlando Parks

Lake Buena Vista, CA -- Disney raised the price of its adult admission ticket by $2. The price increase for the Orlando theme parks went into effect on Sunday, September 8.

The increase raises the one-day, adult admission to $50 before taxes. The new price applies to one-day tickets for each of its four Orlando parks that make up the Walt Disney World complex. Disney last raised prices in January 2001.

Disney's increase now pushes its one-day admission into the $50 range, but they're not the first. SeaWorld Orlando increased its gate prices earlier this year becoming the first major Orlando park to break the $50 mark.
