2003 Cedar Point Season Passes Now On Sale

Sandusky, OH -- Summer is almost over, but it is never too early to start dreaming about the thrills that are in store next year at Cedar Point. Voted the "Best Amusement Park in the World," Cedar Point has announced that its 2003 Regular Season Pass will go on sale at its lowest price available — $85!

Guests who purchase a 2003 Combo Season Pass get two great parks - Cedar Point and Soak City - for the low price of $135. Senior and Junior Combo Season Passes will also be available at special rates. These limited-time offers are only available from Friday, Sept. 6 through Friday, Nov. 15. (The $85 Cedar Point Regular Season Pass is valid for guests ages 4-59, 48 inches or taller.) Parking Passes are available at the discounted price of $30 until Nov. 15, after which they will be $60.

Back and better than ever will be the popular Joe Cool Club. For an additional $15, guests who purchase a 2003 Cedar Point Regular Season Pass can join this exclusive, members-only club that includes perks such as special morning and evening ride time on selected roller coasters, discounts on food and merchandise, the option of having your parking pass on your ID and much more! Guests who purchase a 2003 Combo Season Pass before Friday, Nov. 15 will get a free Joe Cool Club membership.

Cedar Point will also build a major new thrill ride for next summer. Parts have already begun to arrive and construction is scheduled to begin after Labor Day. A formal announcement with additional details about the project will be made at a later date.

Season Pass and Combo Season Pass certificates can be purchased at the Cedar Point Season Pass Center, located at the park's main entrance, on Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 14 and 15 from 10 am to 8 pm.

During HalloWeekends, the Season Pass Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 20-22, 27-29 and Oct. 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27. It will be open from 10 am to 4 p.m. on Sept. 6, 9-13, 16-19, 23-26, 30, Oct. 1-3, 7-10, 14-17, 21-24, 28-31, Nov. 1, 4-8 and 11-15.

Season Pass and Parking Pass certificates can also be ordered by telephone, fax, mail or the Internet. Beginning Friday, Sept. 6, telephone orders will be accepted from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, by calling (419) 627-2309. Mail orders should be sent to: Cedar Point Season Pass Center, One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870-5259. All mail orders should be postmarked no later than Friday, Nov. 15 to receive the sale price. Fax orders can be placed by calling (419) 627-2347. Internet orders can be completed by logging on to cedarpoint.com. A $3 handling fee will be added for standard delivery on all phone, fax and mail orders. The handling fee for online orders is determined by the shipping method selected.

Season Passholders will be able to use their pass for admission to any of Cedar Point's five sister parks: Michigan's Adventure near Muskegon, Mich.; Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pa.; Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA.; Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minn.; and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Mo. Combo Passholders will be able to use their pass for admission at each of those parks and Oceans of Fun water park in Kansas City, Mo.; Soak City U.S.A. in Buena Park, CA.; Soak City U.S.A. in Chula Vista, CA.; and Soak City U.S.A. in Palm Springs, CA.
