CoasterMania! 2002 Details Revealed At ACE Conference

Sandusky, OH -- Cedar Point officials spilled the beans on CoasterMania! 2002 last weekend at the ACE No Coaster Conference in Chicago. This year's annual event is shaping up to be the biggest and best ever. This year coaster fans will enjoy a total of 14 hours of ERT on six of the park's best thrill rides.

Those who wish to arrive early may do so, as the gates to the park will open at 6 am. The park will be open from 10 am to 10 pm for all to enjoy.

The morning ERT session will begin at 7:30 am and attendees will be treated to rides on Raptor, Mantis, Blue Streak and Power Tower until 9:30 am.

During the day you won't want to miss a special question and answer session with Cedar Point's resident coaster lovers Richard Kinzel (CEO of Cedar Fair L.P.) and Daniel Keller (Vice President, General Manager of Cedar Point). Both will answer questions from the audience in the historic Cedar Point Ballroom from Noon until 1 pm.

Lunch is included and will be served at 2:30 pm.

The evening ERT session will begin at 10:30 p.m. and attendees will be offered rides on Magnum XL-200 from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am and on Millennium Force and Wicked Twister from 11 pm to 1 am.
