USF - another one bites the dust - T2/3D
Got this in an mail today. My family always loved this attraction, and T2 is one of my all time favorite movies (thoroughly enjoyed the recent re-release in 3D).
As with Dueling Dragons, I won't even get a chance for "one last ride" because I am getting treatments every day. Fortunately we rode T2/3D our last trip back in May. As with Twister, another RIP.
Terminator 2: 3-D at Universal Studios Florida will run its last shows on Sunday, October 8 to make way for an all-new live action experience based on a high-energy Universal franchise. It will open in 2019. This is one of many exciting new experiences coming to Universal Orlando Resort as we continue our epic growth. Stay tuned – more details will be released soon.

I read that T2 3D was closing a couple weeks ago, eight after our Florida trip. Luckily we did see that show, during our visit to Universal Studios Orlando in August. My son actually liked that show, but my daughter and I thought it was the worst show of the trip. I hope they put in something better in it's place.
