Wow, are they still doing to do an ACE preview day on the 8th? They canceled the 2000 Season Pass holders' preview day for the 9th. I just got this message from PKI this evening:

Hi There, we bought season passes for this year during one of our visits to the park last year. Purchasing the passes also included special ride passes for the Baby Beast next weekend - is everything on schedule and otherwise a "thumbs up" for the park being open to season pass holders next weekend for the Baby Beast?

You guys are probably getting a lot of emails like this lately, we're just curious because we're coming all the way from Greenville, NC and just wanted to make sure before we hop in the car. ====================================================

Wondering why they would do this... are they behind schedule or something?

Bummer being so far away, we have to scrounge for news (their website doesn't get updated very consistently).

Does anybody here have any additional scoop?

Thanks, Vince

Yes they are a couple weeks behind schedule, due to "weather related construction delays". The official reason is that we had snow on the ground for a couple weeks. Normally the snow melts in a day or two. I suspect the actual reason is the damage from high winds last January to a temporary structure on the second drop.
