SF parks that got BIG stuff will get more in 2001
Ok SF parks this year that have got some real nice coaster should get more nice stuff next year if they can get people to the park this year. The way I see it is this, the parks are runners in a race, coasters a the water that they get every mile. If the runner is doing well why take the water away? SFinc. knows this. So that means the parks that do well will more than likely get more "water" if they don't the park may just "pass out" if you know what I mean.
Just my take on the whole "SF PARKS 2001" thing!

Unfourtinately that's not how it always goes, otherwise when SFGAm got Batman: The Ride in 1992, their best year ever, they would've gotten another coaster in 1993 and yet another in 1994 (assuming the '93 one does very well). Also Cedarpoint would've gotten another coaster in '95 and after Mantis was a success in '96, they would've gotten one in '97. It makes sense, but that's not how the parks are run.

The way I see it....there has to be a down year for improvments for every park. My home park is Fiesta Texas and there have been alot of great rides and attractions added to the park that has really boosted the parks attendance. They have really done alot in 2 years but Im really not expecting anything major for 2001 because of the fact that the parks 10 year anniversary is in 2002. I think they just may make improvments to the park in 2001 and add a few small rides or slides for the park or water park but I think the Giovanola Hyper will be here in 2002. Now as far as people from SFAW complaining about not getting anything for 2000.....well......1999 wasnt very nice to them. Even with Serial Thriller...they had a DROP in attendance......so big rides arent always the answer. According to me......2001 is going to be a good year for SFAW and SFoT and SFFT is going to have an off year.
