WILL S.O.B. BE READY FOR OPENING WEEKEND?
WELL HERE WE GO AGAIN, KINGS ISLAND IS GETTING READY FOR OPENING WEEKEND IN JUST TWO WEEKS. NOW THE QUESTION I HAVE IS WILL THE NEW COASTER S.O.B. BE READY? I WENT AHEAD AND MADE HOTEL RESERVATIONS TODAY JUST LIKE I DID BACK IN 96 WHEN OUTER LIMITS WAS TO OPEN BUT DIDNT OPEN TILL LATER THAT SEASON. IM HOPING THE SAME PROBLEM DOESNT HAPPEN THIS YEAR CUZ I HAVE NOTICED THAT THEY ADVERTISE IT AS OPENING IN THE SPRING OF 2000 WITHOUT GIVING A ACTUAL DATE OF OPENING. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT IS 100% SURE THAT IT WILL BE UP AND RUNNING FOR OPENING WEEKEND?

Opening day for SOB has OFFICIALLY been moved to April 26 & 27. They mailed a notice of this change to all season passholders who had sneak preview passes to the SOB opening. These new dates are also listed in the PKI newsletter which was mailed out this week.

Well after reading some more messages here I have a better idea of why the season pass holder preview was rescheduled. had a feeling that it was due to delays but seeing ACE stuff indicating the 8th was still a go had me pretty confused.
Thanks for posting the updated info everybody. PKI sure didn't mail us any information about the park. We haven't gotten newsletters or anything like that, and we even gave them our email addresses when we filled out the info sheets for the season passes last year. The email copied into my post on the other thread was in reply to the email we sent them...
Oh well...
Might just have to go to King's Dominion this weekend.... Vince
