I know it has been braked to death, but I will always love the Beast. That is just my opinion and I don't have that much experience either ( about 20 coasters I think). I think Sonny might beat out pappa though. That thing looks amazing. I will be there opening weekend!!!!! (I think April 26-29).

That's a tough question. I have been on 230 different coasters and so far I found only 6 coasters that I consider to be PERFECT---ones I wouldn't change a single element on them, including length. Those coasters are:

STEEL

MONTU---What an incredible inverted coaster---7 inversions 6 of which occur before or after a tunnel/trench and one occurs right after nearly crashing into a wall. Great theming, powerful G's, beautifully landscaped, awesome pacing. Brilliant!

KUMBA---I can't decide which is better at BGT. Kumba also blew me away with everything about it. I loved how the tracks are surrounded by trees and walkways. These things along with the ending tunnel and upward helix, and intense pacing sets this ride above other B&M sitdown/floorless coasters.

WOOD

1. Ghostrider---I have decided that FR is now my #1 woodie. There's so much variety on this ride that I have to rank it above the brilliant ST. The one thing that makes Ghostrider so good is that it noticeably becomes more and more intense as the ride goes on. I also love how it teases you with the few slowdowns it has, and then---POW! There's a moment that knocks your socks off!

2. Shivering Timbers--I thought this ride would never end! With one HUGE hill after another, I thought I was dreaming about the coaster I've always wanted to ride. Airtime galore!

3. Phoenix---What amazes me most about this ride is with its size. A coaster this moderate in size could deliver so much thrills. Phoenix is pure fun and never lets up! Like Ghostrider, the ride just gets better and better right up to the 5 final bunny hops.

4. Tremors---Those tunnels! Tremors has the most frightening headchopper effect I have ever seen, and it comes from the second tunnel that the train flies through at 55 MPH! I love how the ride begins and ends in the same manner---a drop into a tunnel followed by a leap in another. I counted 10 great moments of airtime. Like on Ghostrider, Tremors has two slowdowns which are immediately followed by a---POW!---moment that really gets your hair to stand on end. I really hope enthusiasts will go to this year's ACE summer Conf to ride it.

Hulk IS an outstanding coaster but I would have to say the best coaster I've ever ridden is Kumba at BGT.

I would have to say a tie between Goliath and Riddlers Revenge. I live in AZ so MM is not a hometown kind of park to me, but i just love those two rides. Goliath mainly because the drop from the front row and helix are so incredible. but riddlers revenge is just such a joy. the colors, the excelent lay out, great elements and especially the great part of the ride where you can brag from the front row to the crowds waiting to enter to building. both of these cali coasters are my favourites.
