What is your favorite water ride?
I was sitting around last night and thinking about this. I know we don't talk about water rides much on this board, but I would really like to hear from peaple on this one. My favorite water ride is White Water Canyon at PKI. I haven't been to very many parks because of my age, but I have never got more wet on any other ride than this one. I also like the old log flume at Americana because it starts out like a rapids ride somewhat, and then it climbs up a small hill and drops you like a log flume.

*** I would have to say Journey to Atlantis at Sea World Florida. With great special effects, a great first drop, and the best water ride drop I've ever been on (the second drop) makes the ride the best water ride I've been on. Zimm
> I'm not a water ride fan, I hate walking around wet 1-2 hours after you go on one, But if I had to pick one, it's Splash Mt. at WDW. Just because of the story that goes on inside the ride.
Could we count the Jungle Cruise in this category? Pirate's of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain all hold a candle as well...all three at the Disneyland Resort here in CA.

While I do like White Water Canyon and Roman Rapids (BGW), the special effects on Pompeii are outstanding. Plus it's cool to hit the water after all that fire.

I remember Pompeii. It's short, but exciting. I love the burning smell from the fires. Guess I'm a pyro LOL I'm a music freak, too, and the music in there was awesome, as I recall! I love falling columns, and I'm with you all the way on this one!!!
