New Computer and RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe

I had RCT Deluxe (1&2) about 75% of the parks completed whem my sopn gave me a new computer for Christmas. I thought it would be a simple matter to transfer the info games files to the new computer with all of my saved games. But no matter what I try the RCT game on the new computer does not recognize my successfully completed scenarios. Any suggestions?
