Can't load roller coaster tycoon 1

I own the original game and once it is installed and I save a game, I can't load it anymore because it stops the game and send me back to my desktop. Can anyone help me please?

I'm having this same problem trying to load all saved games. Any help?

I'm Sorry to add this... but I also have the exact same problem. I noticed one of the people on here who described this problem said that they are running XP. This is the operating system that I am running also. My RCT has always worked before on my old WindowsME computer but it has not worked on this XP computer. I have therefore come to the conclusion that this game is just to old for XP to recognise the commands.

I think that sadly there is only one solution... To actually buy RCT3 (what a pity eh?)... actually my cousin has it and it is a great game!! ...now off to amazon!
