Make sure you don't have any rubbish lying about and your handymen/mecanics are working up to standard.

As mentioned in the other reply rubbish/vomit are by far the main thing that causes low ratings. It doesnt take much of it to cause a problem. If there are a lot of complaints about it I make everthing invisible so that I can see the paths easier and quickly scan the park for a problem area, and assign a maintanence man to that spot.

The next main thing that affects ratings in vandalism. If Im just trying to beat a scenerio (and not to worried about the looks of the park) I just get rid of anything already in the park that can be vandalized and dont put anything in that can be vandalized (ie park benches,garbage cans,lights etc.) and then I dont have to worry about it.

Any ride that crashes really can cause a dent in rating, so if your playing a scenerion that lasts more then 3 years its a good idea to start replacing any rides that are more then 3 years old. Also the older the ride there will be less people interested in riding it which can lower ratings.

On games where you pay to ride , as the game gets on people start to complain of the price and wont ride, which affects ratings. As people stop riding , i decrease prices to keep them on, until I reach $1 to $2 dollars depending on the ride, and then replace it.

Asking to much for rides or concession stands etc. can also afftect ratings, as can lack of facilites such as food, washrooms, etc.

People getting stuck on paths , unable to find things,to much
crowding are some other things that can cause problems with ratings to lesser degrees.

If your having problems getting ratings that high, or with ratings dropping, click on guests , switch to all guests, and thoughts (instead of actions) to see what one thing a whole lot of people are complaining about, fix that problem and ratings should go up. I generally check thoughts every so often just to keep an eye on the overall picture.

In most scenerios keeping on top of these things will keep your ratings in the 900s.

Also adding wat they say do advrertisments for every thing and build rides that the people will like and make sure you places to eat and drink and bathrooms
