When RCT was first released, they used to hold coaster competitions on rollercoastertycoon.com. You could download an official competition scenario, build the most exciting coaster you could and upload it back to the site. The top 10 coasters (in excitemet ratings) would be subjectively reviewed by Chris Sawyer and Co. and a mouse pad, poster and -- most of all -- BRAGGING RIGHTS would go to the winners.

The first time around, I was just a casual Forest Frontiers putterer. I would try the scenarios, but realize how WEAK I really was at the game. These days, I consider myself an RCT powerhouse -- capable of building 8+ excitement woodies with mere 65 foot drops, or 7200-foot hypers with 255 foot drops but intensity in the mid 7s. I've been training like Darth Maul for this moment.....and at last I will have my revenge.
