Anybody else gotten this yet?
Just picked it up yesterday, and i love it. Can't really take myself out of the sandbox and played through the turorial. anyone else yet?
i just picked mine up today. pretty good overall... missing a couple things that could really improve it

Nice, what are you liking and not liking? as i said, sandbox rules for me. Supposedly there is a patch coming out real soon, so hopefully some things will get cleaned up a bit

Still need to go pick up my copy. I wan't expecting it until the 2nd though. SO it will have to wait until this weekend just because of my work schedule.
to me it seems a little blocky... i dunno how to explain it. i also don't like how each piece of scenery has their own window. it just doesn't seem necessary for a tree! the other thing i miss is the peep window where you can sort by status of what they're thinking and what not. To me that was soooo important and it really helped me understand what i need to do in my park. Right now i kind of have to guess. Another thing i didn't like was that guests won't go on rides unless they;re really cheap! kiddie rides have to be like $1 and its hard to make a profit.

I'm not liking the roller coaster editor. Or the path editor. I want to go one way, there is nothing stopping me, nor does it tell me why I can't put a peice somewhere. Nor do I like the fact that it doesn't tell you how fast the train is going like the original.
I like everything else about it, but it gets a little frustrating. Maybe I just have to get used to it.
I have an Nvidia Gforce FX 5200 128MB graphics card and an AMD Athlon XP 3000 and it lags. It lags a lot when I'm riding coasters or when it's night time.
And that directx9 thing I was talking about earlier, about how I couldn't get the game to work because it was saying I don't have directx9, well, I figured it out. I did have directx9 but I forgot to enable some 3D draw thing. If someone else has this problem go to RUN, type in dxdiag and check what you have enabled on the second tab.

Anyway, if you've picked it up you should definately get the new patch, keeps everything nice and smooth.

Where can I get the patch? I found RCT3 to be very choppy when I play. Would it be my video card? Memory? My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 256. What would you recommend? Right now, I can't afford to buy a new computer (My computer is four and a half years old), so I'm hoping I can upgrade my current computer without paying an arm and a leg, so I can play the latest games without any problem. Thanks in advance.

Its running pretty smooth on my computer now. How do you like it so far? Favorite coaster? I've been making slow progress just cause i love the sandbox so much.
i'm finding it hard to make my parks scenic. Since there aren't user-created scenery I find that I am very limited. The thing I hate the most is that each little piece of scenery has its own window. Why does a tree need to have a window. Too many unneccessary things that Frontier should have left out for simplicity factors.

I play many of the sim/strat/tyc games and RCT is by far the only one I love. RCT3 is the greatest. Never played the tutorial, tho. I love the sandbox mode. The Scanerios are a little tough; but, I am a Tycoon on the Vanilla Hills --at this posting.
=Snadbox is the best cause you have all the money in the world and you can build everything and anything you want! But, I still like the other scenrios...
