what is rollercoaster 2 like?

Like the original RCT but with more coaster types/bildings/scenery etc.

Not that exciting...you might be better waiting for RCT 3

Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is super!
LOADS more rides and scenery and rollercoasters etc.

Give it a go. Its well worth it. Graphics are alot better than RCT1 and it is much faster in my opinion.

its a great game with loads more options but i found it slowed my comp down a little ,overall great game

Gee. I have rollercoaster tycoon 2, with wacky worlds
and Time Twister.

There are a lot of things in 2 that aren't in The
first versions of tycoon. Six Flags Parks, and scenery
for one.(Although I like Alton Towers, and Blackpool
better.) and, a lot of new food booths, and stuff.

There are also new coasters. B&M Flyer, floorless
coasters, Inverted shuttles like Superman, and De ja vu. And, a few others. Like a looping wooden coaster.

What I like most, is you get to see more of what your
guest is doing. And, check out what the guests most
favorite ride is.

The rollercoaster designer is also cool. You can design a coaster, and put it in every one of your parks. I have my own versions of Shivering Timbers,
Batman the ride, Raptor, and Mantis. (from Memory)

My Shivering Timbers mimics the real one very well, with the freeze frame photo right before the
helix...just like on the real thing. The only thing
is...The coaster is so long, it will only fit in a
few parks.

The only thing I don't like about two, is that there
are a lot of prebuilt coasters, that you can't rebuild
if you don't like the design. And, most of the preset
six flags coasters don't have photo sections on them.
And, you can't add them to the ride.

Another thing I don't like is not being able to change
the admission at some parks, you can either have
pay one price, or pay per ride, not both. All the six
flags parks are pay one price, and you can't change it.

Another thing I don't like is, there are no extra parks
in 2. In one, if you pass a scenario you get rewarded
with a new park to build. Not in two.

But, you can create your own parks. So, that's cool.
Not, much in the way of landscaping though.

I probably won't get 3. even though it looks cool.
