Anyone build a 300-foot drop?

Remember the "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" part???? Don't you think I know that already??? Level 60 to Level 1 = a maximum drop of 255 feet....

BUT I was going to enjoy poking fun at any exaggerating blowhard artist who'd say they did.

I've hit 285 feet. I did it while ago. Also I have had a 218 foot wodden coaster.

I can get to level 61 for a drop of 262 ,I think.

Y'know, you *might* be able to get a 300 foot drop out of CF when it comes out. The steel twister has a max height of like 280+ feet, so maybe we can actually make a 300 footer with some... tweaking... eh?

You are going to thnk I'm lying, but if you do to bad. When the time changed my game failed. I had to delete the game and my park :( I also to add insult to injury just found out that there is a patch ( boy my face is sure red) I missed all last week of school due to sickness, so this week I have a ton of makeup work, On the upside I intend to rebulid this coaster in the next few days, or mabey week. When I do I will send the park to you. I have to really work on the land to get this coaster to work. It also has a intesityof 10.32, it works but not everybody rides it. I'll try to reduce the intesity, the old coaster, had a great drop but the coaster it self was cr*p. I wan't to rebulid the same coaster but with another huge drop. This may take a while.

285 is absoluetely impossible. You came you with several excuses though. All I am gonna say is "CoastaPlaya, go nuts on this guy like you said"

I said I was not lying. The coaster really did suck, after the drop I a a high speed turn
followed by brakes, that would stop the ride. This ride had a top speed of 109mph. Yes 109 but I had to use boasters to make it go that fast. You ask how I could have a intensity of 10.32 then, well its called I used no banking and really sharp turns. This coaster , did not even last in my park, I replaced it with a Steel corkscrew mulitlooper. That is one one the reasons that I really tryed to get around sending you the park, since the ride was removed. Time change also really affected my game. Now I was wondering, if there is anyway to get my old park to work. It right now is sitting in my Recycle bin. I tryed putting it in my new game but it failed. Shame to because the pak was going on 25 years, had 16 coaster, 13 really good coasters though. I will send you a copy of a coaster with a 285 foot dorp. I have a 4 day weekend next week. I will build the coaster then. I'M NOT LYING!!!

Anyhow, I've done it...but you get higher top speed with a B&M style "fake drop" before hand, a la Apollo's Chariot (and Raging Bull? not sure never rode it)

Oh, come on. You could build one before you even open your park with the Mega scenario. I build mile-long coasters at the REAL maximum height every day just for the heck of it.

Why not stop making a fool of yourself and admit you haven't done it? What are you doing--grubbing around with some pathetic trainer? Lack the skills to make a park work?

You are missing the point, Chris Sawyer made it IMPOSSIBLE to make drops that big in RCT, no matter how much cash you have. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!

I hit 305 on a steel corkscrew!

Hi I came in under a diffrant name. Fine I did not build a 285 foot coaster, I made that post because I was trying to build one that high, I thought I could. Today I got CF. Thought being hard it is possible to build a 300 foot steel twister. Yes I have done it. I would e-mail it to you but, I first want to include in a fully working park. I built this one by taking huge loans, and distroying other rides and coasters for room and money. Why don't you try to build a 300 foot coaster. You do need to tunnle, because you can only go 283 feet above the ground. Good Luck.

....but I kinda guessed it could be done with CF; after all, it was designed under the magnificent shadow of MF's construction. I'll pick up copy and add it to my Mega Park with the SuperFreak (255 foot drop, 7200 footer, almost laps the park, 7.7+ excitement and intensity) and my 5200+ foot vertical coaster (another 255 foot drop, 10.12 excitement, laps the back of the park but my 65 mph ground-level helix finale gets the numbers up)
