LCD Televisions
I recently bought a cheap DVD player, and as everything is in widescreen (even things that have been previously broadcast in 4:3) I went looking for a widescreen TV to take advantage of the anamorphic feature.
I didn't get one, but I saw a range of small LCD televisions on display. The picture seemed fantastic and they were very slimline. At the moment they are very expensive (UK prices about £1000 for just a small screen). What I'm waiting for is the prices to come down and the sizes to get bigger.
My question is, how have these LCD televisions taken off in America? Are they commonplace? And do you think they are the future?
Any thoughts appreciated.
