Hell yeah, big Slipknot fan here, although it gets kinda tough when half the people in their pits are 10 or under, but yeah, they're new stuff that I've heard has been really brutal, I just love it though. I started listening to them in May of '99 when their demo tapes started to circulate around, from there I've been a big fan.

Another thing that's cool about them that most people don't take notice of is that they're actually a really talented band. Mick Thompson I'd put up against almost any guitar player out there, same with Paul Grey on bass, even though he doesn't show it much in their most recent album (anyone with Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. knows that he can play that bass), Joey Jordison is also a really good drummer, and Corey Taylor has a great all around voice, something not all that common even today.

Yeah,i like Slipknot, they are really good. I really dont like alot of their makeup chain wearing wannabe fans, but other than that ,there pretty good. There one of the best Nu Metal Bands out there. I saw them live at Ozzfest, they were awesome.

Hey, for anyone whose gotten Iowa already (I pre-ordered it online, so I'm still waiting), how is it? I've only heard great reviews of it, more thrash oriented, no hip hop elements anymore, maybe that summer 2000 tour with Slayer got them even better. I've heard a few songs off of it and they were all great.

I also heard that this year or next year's tour will have Mudvayne and some other bands I don't know. Anyone know when the tour is and who the other bands are?

I just bought mine today and it kicks butt! Really brutal and heavy. I still like the Heretic Anthem because of the brutal sound.
