It doesn't look good for the Democrats but it will depend on who they choose and the events in 2004.

Well, given that Al Gore actually polled more votes last election, you could say that he was defeated then as well. (Read Michael Moore's book, Stupid White Men - excellent)
Seriouysly tho' I think that Kerry has a strong chance of defeating that illiterate ignoramus that runs your country at the moment. For the sake of the planet I hope Bush gets thwacked!

I'm tired of all this Kerry-bashing I see everywhere.

sure Kerry made some bad choices. But..

1)unlike Shrub..he has seen actual military combat.

2)He's not an ex-coke addict/alcoholic

3)he doesnt have embarrassing infantile acting twin daughters.

4)he doesnt create new words..like unconsequential

5)he never made the phrase.."The war on terror is going to be an effort of titanic proportions"..people forget the titanic...sunk.sure titanic once meant giant but now it is simply synonomous with..sinking.

Rumor has it that Dean is on Kerry's wagon...possibly even as a running mate.

unless another 9-11 happens or Osama "suddenly" gets "captured"...bush wont win.

A lot of people hate Bush and a lot of people love Bush. It is hard to tell if he'll win or not. Anything can happen in Seven months.
