Rule
Below is a list of freqently asked questions about the message boards and answers for each of the questions. Rule

Can I use HTML tags anywhere in my posts?

You may use some HTML tags within the body and subject of your post, so long as it does not create an undesirable appearance or interfer with the functionality of the page. The use of HTML will allow you to place links, mirror pictures from external sources or edit the appearance of your message. The forums also support many common bulletin board codes for formatting your message.

HTML tags are not allowed in the link or image fields. Inappropriate use of HTML may result in the deletion of your message. Please consult the Discussion Forum Usage Policy for further details.

Why did my message not show up on the message board index?

Your message may not have shown up because your browser loaded the message board index from the broswer cache on your computer. To speed the loading of pages most browsers use a feature called a cache, which stores pages and images on your local hard disk.

To view your message you should attempt to reload the message board index and then your message should appear.

If that was not the case then your message might have contained inappropriate language. Foul language is automatically blocked by the message board and posts found containing it will be deleted.

How often are old messages removed from the message boards?

Our message boards use a database to store the messages. Messages are kept in the database so long as it does not affect the performance of the board.

You may adjust the number of messages shown on the message board index when viewing by Topic Start Date by changing your "Options". A link to the Options page is found at the top of the message board index. It will allow you to change the index layout and set the number of topics to be displayed.

For more information on Options read the How-To Help.
