Spinning rapid ride
Hi!
You can find pictures of the new and the world longest spinning rapid ride (Hansapark/built by whitewater) under construction at this site: http://hansaparkfan.hp.ms ("Baustellenfotos")
The ride looks already very impressive.
When will they get a new coaster? All these waterslides...
The free fall tower looks huge. Has Maurer Söhne build other free fall towers?
//;)

Good point. It's like Thorpe Park - they've got Depth Charge, Logger's Leap, the rapids (whatever they're called) and now Tidal Wave.

Yes, they built yet two towers for german fairs. They are travelling in concurrence with three Huss-Towers through Germany. I believe, that the tower in the park is about 50m.

Rio Dorado is going to be the number one water ride in Europe. It is far more thrilling than you will expect. It is similar to L'Oxygenarium at Asterix but longer, with much more spinning and a rapids like area for the finale. The spinning action is controlled but is really fast, pinning riders' backs against the rafts. There will be a "canyon 5 1/2 meters across "in the sky" and a canyon "in the ground" that the six passenger rafts will spin through. Also you will not get wet on it.
After it opens I hope people post on here what they think of the ride. I also hope that people who ride L'Oxygenarium THIS YEAR post what they think of that ride. Improvements were made over the winter so this spins continuously from beginning to end with several changes of direction.
There are going to be more of these rides in Europe.
