TRAUMAtizer - Some Points

This is my 4th favourite coaster:
1.Vampire
2.Nemesis
3.Millennium Roller Coaster
4.TRAUMAtizer
(I don't like any others enough to place 5th).

Smoothness:
Who is the biggest person who has ridden this particular (restraints might be different) SLC? I ask this because, at 6'3", I'm no giant but I only just fitted in it. To say it was "snug" is generous. It was very smooth for me, but on some of the ground straights I did wonder about smaller riders. Thankfully, it gave me NO room for movement.

"Butterfly" Inversion/s:
I personally don't like any "double-inversions" apart from double-corkscrews. I find batwings, cobra rolls etc pointless. One of the reasons I like Nemesis is that the inversions are "clean".

Queue:
They should have a separate queue for the front seat.

Best bit:
Dive into tunnel.

Overall:
Great, lovely ride. Not scary, just thrilling. I had lusted (well, not really) over pictures of the Great Nor' Easter. Imagine my surprise when I stood in front of TRAUMAtizer and the penny dropped! One of my all-time favourite coaster moments! I am very grateful that we've got an SLC in England.

And no, it's not "traumatic"!

Graeme.

I rode it in August '99 and the tunnel was just before the third inversion. It's where it takes your photo. I didn't imagine it!

Shame if they've removed it.

There wasn't one at the beginning of last season, either!

Well, it goes dark where it takes your photo and it felt like a tunnel to ride through, each of the many times I rode it.

Well, no because:

A.I'm not a wuss
and
B.I am fit. Do you know what that means Pete?

Having a Grey out doesnt mean you are a wuss or you are fit. these thing can happen after riding Dragon Khan 20 times in one day made me have a couple of Grey outs.

I said fit, because F1 drivers have to deal with g-forces and they are very fit.

Just remember everybody has different body tolerances. So it does not matter how fit you are to deal with g-forces.

Children, calm down! There's no need to get excited ...
this has nothing to do with tunnels. I don't see why they would have added a tunnel after last April and removed it again before this may. There is a pit just before the third inversion where the camera is & it is very close to the station building, which may explain why it seems darker at that point!
