Unfortunately, Wild Mouse became a victim of the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy when it hit the Jersey Shore on October 29, 2012. Casino Pier was fortunately able to salvage this Wild Mouse coaster, but due to the destruction of the pier were it resided, the roller coaster was sold to a new operator in Sacramento, California.
