Cedar Point's Wicked Twister was the tallest, fastest "double-twisting" impulse roller coaster. This roller coaster is comprised of a U-shaped tubular steel track with 450-degree twisted ends reaching 215 feet into the air and is powered by linear induction motors. Riders are seated two abreast in specially designed seats suspended from the inverted track above. Wicked Twister raced up and down the twisted spikes a total of five times while being propelled by the linear induction motors to a top speed of 72 miles-per-hour.
