Universal Orlando Resort will debut a new "species" of roller coaster for Summer 2021. Riders will feel the rush of the hunt as you race through the jungle alongside Velociraptors on the Jurassic World Velocicoaster. This launched, multielement coaster with theme from the Jurrasic World franchise will be part of Jurassic Park in Universal's Islands of Adventure park.

Jurassic World Velocicoaster will thrill riders with two intense launches, the first from zero to 70 miles-per-hour in just 2.4 seconds, four inversions, 12 seconds of "air-time", on-board audio soundtrack, plus scenery and special effects to tell the story.

Unique elements include a 360-degree barrel roll over and above the Islands of Adventure lagoon. A zero-gravity inverted stall will be the first of its kind maneuver sending riders upside down across 100 feet of track. And the signature "Top Hat" will propel riders 155-feet up where you'll go airborne into an 80-degree drop – Universal's steepest yet. It will also be recognized as the tallest, fastest launched coaster in Florida.
