Six Flags Over Georgia will use the existing Georgia Cyclone wood structure as a footprint for building a new steel-hybrid roller coaster. Using Rocky Mountain Construction's (RMC) innovative, patented I-Box steel track technology the new Twisted Cyclone will deliver an incredibly smooth ride with more exciting elements, including three inversions. Modifications will include raising the first drop to 100 feet (30 meters), making the angle of descent steeper and adding a total of ten airtime hills. The two trains will be themed to resemble a 1960s-era sports convertible, and the top speed will remain the same at 50 miles-per-hour.
