This Vekoma built "motorbike" coaster at Disneyland Shanghai has a theme based Disney's MTron Legacy movie. Tron Lightcycle Run has a roller coaster track that takes park guests on a ride through the Grid on their own Lightcycle. The track layout travels outdoors beneath futuristic looking canopies and through indoor enclosed dark ride scenes.
Riders are seated in one of seven-cars, two abreast on an individual Lightcycle. The riding position resembles that of riding a speeding motorbike. Tron Lightcycle Run's experience includes special light and sound effects and varies from day to night.
