The newest attraction at Disney's Magic Kingdom park is opening for the "Disney 100 Years of Wonder" celebration. Tron Lightcylcle Run is a replica of the roller coaster attraction that opened at Shanghai Disneyland in 2016. Situated in Tomorrowland, Tron Lightcycle Run is a family-launched roller coaster with a track that runs through indoor dark ride scenes and speeds under a brightly lit, themed canopy at night.
The motorbike-style vehicles were created by Walt Disney Imagineering specifically for this attraction and designed to resemble the lightcycles featured in the Tron movie franchise.
