Titan is the second roller coaster built by Giovanola in the United States. This incredible roller coaster combines the layout of a hypercoaster and twister to form one intense ride. The experience includes intense G-forces of up to 4.5 Gs, sustained for nearly six seconds in the double helix finale. Titan's 255-foot drop is one of the largest in the United States and tied with its sister coaster Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain. A slightly modified clone of it's sister, Titan's layout includes an additional helix between the camelback and mid-course block brake. When Titan debuted at Six Flags Over Texas in 2001 it was tied for the second largest drop in the United States and third largest in the world.
