The Legend is Holiday World & Splashin' Safari's second world-class, wooden roller coaster. This relentless, intense roller coaster is known for its terrifying speed, extreme lateral forces, and massive airtime as it screams through the woods surrounding the theme park. The Legend features four tunnels, including one underground, a series of drops, a double helix, and multiple crossovers. This roller coaster also marks Custom Coasters' debut of a spiral feature where the radius varies throughout the drop, providing riders with more of constant lateral (sideways) push than a traditional curving drop. It's no wonder why coaster enthusiasts consistently rate The Legend as one of the top wooden coasters in the world.
