Six Flags brings the caped superhero to Mexico in the form of a giant roller coaster. Superman El Último Escape is a 220-foot hypercoaster with a 205-foot first drop and a top speed of 75 miles-per-hour. Riders fly along a mile of steel coaster track on this out and back layout that includes a second 136-foot drop, two helices and multiple "air-time" producing bunny hills.
Superman was originally slated to open in 2002, but a dispute between the government and Six Flags Mexico halted construction and delaying the opening for two years.
