Ever since Six Flags New England installed this megacoaster it has received rave reviews from coaster fans and consistently ranks as one of the world's top steel coasters. Superman The Ride (formerly Superman – Ride of Steel or Bizarro), is an Intamin designed 5,400-foot long, two and half minute roller coaster ride.

The experience begins when you board one of the eight-car trains and climb the 208-foot tall lift hill. Superman takes flight as it freefalls down the 221-foot first drop at a fearsome 70-degree angle. Reaching a top speed of 77 mph, the train smoothly glides along the tubular steel track with a layout that is full of impressive moments of airtime and two tunnels. With a ride experience like this, it's no wonder that Superman The Ride is Six Flags New England's most popular attraction.

Re-themed to the DC Comics character Bizarro, this megacoaster underwent a transformation in 2009 with the introduction of two new trains with onboard audio and added special effects along the ride, including fire and a mist screen. In 2015, Six Flags announced this coaster would be renamed Superman The Ride for the 2016 season.
