This classic John Allen "out and back" wooden coaster was built in 1963 at Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City Beach and operated there until Labor Day 2004. In 2005, the coaster was purchased and dismantled. The Starliner was relocated to Cypress Gardens under the close supervision of John Fetterman and Leonard Adams of Knoebels where it operated for a little over a year before closing again. The coaster will not be part of the new LEGOLAND® Florida park.
