Blast off on a journey through space on this cleverly themed enclosed roller coaster in Tomorrowland. This attraction is built within a 118-foot tall, 200-foot diameter cylindrical cone that from the outside looks like a futuristic, space-themed mountain.
Space Mountain travels through complete darkness, surrounded by stars, on a journey that includes sharp turns and sudden drops to add to the excitement. Riders seated in two-car rockets ascending three separate chain lifts before blasting off to begin their roller coaster ride through space.
Like its counterparts in the United States, it should come as no surprise that Space Mountain is by far the most popular attraction at Tokyo Disneyland.
