Werner Stengel designed this Schwarzkopf Looping Star roller coaster. For its first several years it operated at the State Fair of Texas where it ran until 1983. After a short stint in Ocean City, Maryland this roller coaster found its permanent home at Frontier City and was renamed Silver Bullet. This compact looping coaster has a triple out and back layout with an 83-foot tall lift hill and single vertical loop.

Silver Bullet Facts & History

Originally opened and operated in Ocean City, Maryland.

1980 – Looping Star opened at State Fair of Texas where it operated until 1983.

1984-1985 – Operated at Jolly Roger Amusement Park (Ocean City, Maryland)

1986 – Opened at Frontier City and a tunnel was added to the coaster.

Train has seven cars with two rows each, seating two abreast per row.

Height requirement: Riders must be at least 48 inches tall
