This is another masterpiece from coaster designer Anton Schwarzkopf and notable since Six Flags Over Texas claims that this is the first roller coaster to feature two consecutive vertical loops. Shockwave begins with a 40-foot drop into two consecutive vertical loops, followed by a double out and back layout with repetitive drops and hills each offering plenty of airtime. Thus, it's no surprise, that this is a popular ride for roller coaster enthusiasts.
