After a nearly 3-year refurbishment and retheme Rock 'n' Roller Coaster reopens as Marvel theme– Avengers Assemble: Flight Force as part of the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. This attraction is being revamped with an entirely new story.
Guests will be recruited and briefed by Iron Man, who's equipped with a brand-new Mark 80 armor designed for his missions at Avengers Campus. With no time left, recruits will have the opportunity to team up with two Avengers on this high-speed, thrilling mission, embarking and flying through space on a vehicle that Stark has equipped with a homing device to lure the threat away from Planet Earth.
Avengers Assemble: Flight Force is an elaborately themed production model roller coaster from Vekoma one of the attractions of the new Marvel Avengers Campus area. A creative pre-show tells the story that then leads guests to their awaiting limo. The roller coaster begins with a powerful launch that catapults the train from zero to 57 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds into a giant cobra roll. A third inversion, a corkscrew follows later in the ride. To increase capacity Disney uses separate load and unload locations making it possible to run four trains at once.
