Road Runner Express roller coaster closed after Hurricane Katrina caused significant damage to Six Flags New Orleans closing the park for good. Road Runner Express remained at the park until it was relocated to Larson International for refurbishment in 2009.

May 28, 2011 – Road Runner Express is reopens at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

2010 – Relocated to Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA).

2009 – Relocated from the park to Larson International (Planview, TX) to undergo a refurbishment.

August 22, 2005 – Road Runner Express closes after Hurricane Katrina devastates Six Flags New Orleans.

2003 – Rex's Rail Runner is renamed Road Runner Express.

Train has eight cars with one row each, seating two abreast per row.
