This roller coaster closed after Hurricane Katrina caused significant damage to Six Flags New Orleans. The ride remained at the park until it was removed and relocated to Larson International for refurbishment in 2009.

Road Runner Express was a Vekoma production model Roller Skater junior family coaster. This standard model stands 28-feet tall and offers a twisted track layout. A single 8-car train travels the 679-foot long ride at speeds of up to 22 miles-per-hour.

Vekoma "Roller Skater" model family coaster

2010 – Relocated to Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA) and reopens as Road Runner Express.

2009 – Relocated from the park to Larson International (Planview, TX) to undergo a refurbishment.

August 22, 2005 – Road Runner Express closes after Hurricane Katrina devastates Six Flags New Orleans.

2003 – Rex's Rail Runner is renamed Road Runner Express.

Opening date: May 20, 2000

Train has eight cars with one row each, seating two abreast per row.
